Han Hyo Joo and Oguri Shun will be starring in a new drama together!

On March 13, Ilgan Sports reported that according to industry insiders, Han Hyo Joo will be starring in the Japanese Netflix series “Romantic Anonymous” (literal title) with Oguri Shun.

In response to the report, a source from BH Entertainment shared, “She has been cast in the project, and [the series] has begun filming.”

“Romantic Anonymous” is a rom-com series based on Jean-Pierre Améris’s film “Romantics Anonymous,” which follows the romance story of a chocolatier who suffers from social anxiety as she gets hired at a small chocolate store. The upcoming series will be helmed by director Shô Tsukikawa who previously created “Let Me Eat Your Pancreas” and “The 100th Love With You.”

In addition to recently captivating viewers through “Moving,” Han Hyo Joo starred in numerous hits including “Believer 2” as well as other Japanese projects including “Miracle: Devil Claus’ Love and Magic” and “The Sun Does Not Move.”

Oguri Shun is a top Japanese actor who captivated fans with projects such as “Boys Over Flowers,” “Gokusen,” “Azumi,” “Crows Zero,” “Gintama,” and more. According to the report, Jin Akanishi will also be joining the cast lineup.
