Krystal Jung from girl group f(x) has signed an exclusive contract with H& Entertainment.
Krystal, whose contract was recently announced to have expired with her former agency SM Entertainment, has drawn keen attention from the industry regarding her future moves. And to day, she officially announced her departure by selecting H& Entertainment as her new agency.
H& Entertainment is a new management company founded by Hong Min Ki, a former vice president of Korea's leading management company KeyEast Co., and is currently the agency of Jeong Ryeo Won, Son Dam Bi, In Kyo Jin, So Yi Hyun, Jung In Sun, Kwak Dong Yeon and Kang Min Ah.
CEO Hong Min Ki expressed his ambition, saying, "I am happy to start working with Krystal Jung, a versatile artist, for a good change and leap forward." He added, "We will do my best to support Krystal Jung, who debuted as a singer and has gained global popularity, and who has been firmly established as an actress, to show better acting and abundant activities."
Debuting in 2009 as a member of the group f(x), Krystal has delivered unique music and sensuous performances, boasting solid fandom at home and abroad as an icon representing Asia. Since 2010, she has challenged acting to create her own colors, presenting strong performances in various genres, such as sitcoms, fantasy romance and action. Her works include 'High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged', 'The Heirs', 'The Bride of Habaek', 'Prison Playbook' and 'Playe'. In addition, the singer is considered an wannabe icon for women in their 20s, with her elegant and sophisticated aura as well as her unrivaled beauty.
As Krystal, who has grown from having small roles to leading roles, continues to pursue her acting career, expectations are high on what synergy she will show with her new agency.
Meanwhile, she will return to the small screen with OCN dramatic cinema 'Search' on October 17.
