Due to this, EXO members and other staff members who worked along with Xiumin are also self-isolating while waiting for their results.

On August 5, SM Entertainment, the EXO's agency, stated, "Xiumin conducted an additional PCR test after not feeling well the previous day and has been tested positive on the same day."

Earlier, Xiumin conducted a PCR test for his upcoming musical practice and fortunately tested negative on July 29. However, after feeling some symptoms, he once again underwent a test and tested positive.
After Xiumin's confirmed case, EXO members and staff in charge are also conducting a coronavirus test and are already in self-quarantine while waiting for the results.
SM Entertainment added, "We also informed all the broadcast programs where Xiumin is starring, and some of the cast and staff members of the musical "Hadestown" that he practiced together will conduct a coronavirus test."
In regards to Xiumin's schedules and activities, the agency avows, "Xiumin will immediately stop all schedules and actively follow the instructions and procedures of the quarantine authorities. We will also do our best to help the artist recover faster."
On the other hand, Xiumin was supposed to perform as the main character for the upcoming musical "Hadestown" set to open on August 24 at LG Art Center. Xiumin is also currently appearing on Channel S's "Along with the Gods" Season 2.
