Earlier on September 18, D.O. returned with his second mini album “Expectations” along with the music video for the title track “Somebody.”
Following its release, “Expectations” topped iTunes Top Albums charts in 42 regions including Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Laos, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Norway, Portugal, Argentina, Qatar, Brazil, Brunei, Chile, Colombia, Greece, Belarus, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongol, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Finland, Paraguay, Panama, Oman, and Fiji.
In addition to topping domestic album charts including Hanteo and Kyobo, “Expectations” also placed No. 1 on China’s QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital albums sales charts as well as Japan’s RecoChoku’s daily album rankings.
Furthermore, the title track “Somebody” topped iTunes Top Songs charts in 25 regions across the world and swept major realtime domestic music streaming sites including Bugs, Genie, and Melon.
