ENHYPEN Joins Lineup Of '2020 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS'

  • NYLE
Our monster rookie ENHYPEN has been confirmed to join the line-up of the upcoming '2020 The Fact Music Awards' ceremony.

The organizing committee of 'THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS' said on December 8 that, "ENHYPEN will appear in the '2020 The Fact Music Awards'."

ENHYPEN is a seven-member rookie boy group formed through Mnet's survival show 'I-LAND', which aired last summer, consisting of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Niki. They took their first step in the K-Pop scene by releasing the debut album 'BORDER: DAY ONE' on November 30.

ENHYPEN has a strong presence as soon as they debuted. According to Hanteo Chart, ENHYPEN sold a total of 280,873 albums in the first week of its release (November 30 to December 6), the highest record among K-Pop groups that debuted this year. On the first day of the album's release, they sold a total of 229,991 copies, taking first place in the Hanteo Chart Daily Album category (as of December 1).

"The sales of the album recorded on the first day of their debut alone met the criteria for winning the '2020 The Fact Music Awards'," the organizing committee said. "Fans' requests to see ENHYPEN's performance at the awards ceremony were enormous," adding, "We decided to invite ENHYPEN to join the artist lineup, reflecting both the screening criteria and the opinions of our fans."

ENHYPEN, which will appear in the '2020 The Fact Music Awards' 12 days after their debut, plans to show spectacular performances that overwhelm the five senses, with the title track 'Given-Taken', and make a big splash to global viewers.

The '2020 The Fact Music Awards', which will be held on December 12, will be held as an on-tact event to prevent further spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of fans and artists. BTS, Super Junior, NU'EST, GOT7, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, Kang Daniel, TWICE, MAMAMOO, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, STRAY KIDS, TXT, ATEEZ, CRAVITY, Weeekly, THE BOYZ, IZONE, Jessie, ENHYPEN have confirmed to attend the show. Jun Hyun Moo and actress Seohyun will co-host the show for the third consecutive time.

In particular, as the social distance control has been upgraded, the '2020 The Fact Music Awards' will follow the government and local governments' quarantine guidelines and actively utilize on-site personnel reduction and pre-recording to hold awards ceremonies.

The '2020 The Fact Music Awards' will be broadcast live online to various regions including South Korea, China, Japan, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and North and South America.
