Both JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” and tvN’s “Captivating the King” are on the rise!
On January 28, “Doctor Slump” enjoyed a significant rise in viewership for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the new romantic comedy earned an average nationwide rating of 5.1 percent, marking a 1 percent jump from its premiere.
Meanwhile, “Captivating the King” nearly doubled its ratings for its fourth episode, which scored a nationwide average of 6.0 percent. (The new historical drama had earned an average nationwide rating of 3.3 percent for its third episode the night prior.)
KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” stayed strong with an average nationwide rating of 9.6 percent, while TV Chosun’s “My Happy Ending” scored an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent for the night.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” shot past the 20 percent mark once again to earn a nationwide average of 20.8 percent—making it the most-watched program of the entire day.
