On August 13, Melon officially announced that BTS’s beloved hit “Spring Day,” the title track of their 2017 album “You Never Walk Alone,” had surpassed 1 billion streams.
Notably, “Spring Day” is the first song ever to hit 1 billion streams on the platform.
“Spring Day,” which has now spent an impressive 2,738 consecutive days on Melon’s daily chart, previously made Melon history this past February by becoming the first song to chart for 7 consecutive years (without dropping off the chart for even a single day).
