According to the Korean Culture and Arts Committee on December 21, the '2020 Art Patron of the Year' awards selected 4 individuals and 6 companies as winners of 7 categories after a professional screening.

BTS RM, who was named in the 'Personal Donation' category, made headlines by donating 100 million won to the National Museum of Contemporary Art in September this year. The donation was used to produce out-of-print art books and donate them to more than 400 locations nationwide.

Henry is said to be discovering music prodigies in a new way through the YouTube 'Henry Together' series, which began in March this year. He is also a goodwill ambassador for the 'Dream Orchestra', called the Korean-style El Sistema, to support and help the dreams of young artists.

Ha Jung Woong, honorary director of the Gwangju Museum of Art, was also recognized for his good influence through personal donations, and Yoo In Taek, president of the Seoul Arts Center, was selected as a "patron" for the first time since his inauguration to implement a loan exemption for the concert hall which is suffering from COVID-19.

The awards ceremony for them will be available on Naver TV's Korean Culture and Arts Committee channel at 2 PM on December 21.
