BTS’s Japanese studio album “Face Yourself” has gone gold in the United Kingdom!

On December 2 local time, the British Phonographic Industry announced that BTS’s “Face Yourself,” their third Japanese studio album that was released in 2018, had achieved gold BRIT certification. According to the BPI’s certification standards, albums are certified gold at 100,000 units sold.
“Face Yourself” went silver in the United Kingdom in July 2020 after surpassing 60,000 units in sales and is now BTS’s first Japanese album to attain a gold certification. BTS has three other Korean albums that have gone gold in the UK, including “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” and “Map of the Soul: 7.”
