Recently, a netizen posted a list of 'Top 30 Kpop Groups/ Subunit Chinese Fanbases Album GO orders.'
At the top of the list, BTS member V's Chinese fanbase has ordered the most number of albums as they ordered 230,300 copies of 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' and 170,400 copies of 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA' taking up both rank 1 and 2. BTS member Jungkook's Chinese fanbase came in at 3rd place as they ordered 166,200 copies of 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA.' In 4th place, BLACKPINK Lisa's Chinese fanbase ordered 133,532 copies of 'The Album.'
The rest of the list comprises fanbases belonging to EXO, NCT, Seventeen, and Red Velvet, with BTS and BLACKPINK leading at the top of the chart.
Korean netizens commented, "There's a huge V fanbase in China I guess," "I love Jungkook and Lisa, same as Chinese fans," "Wow so many K-Pop albums are being sold in China," "V's fanbase is in another level," "BTS and BLACKPINK are at the top in China," "So crazy how V's fanbase took first and second place for the most albums bought," and "In Japan, Seventeen and TWICE sells a lot of albums, lol."
