BoA will be returning to the small screen for the first time in eight years!
On November 9, Sports Chosun reported that BoA will star in tvN’s new drama “Marry My Husband” (literal title).
In response to the report, BoA’s agency SM Entertainment shared, “BoA will star in the new tvN drama ‘Marry My Husband.’ Please check the details through the [drama’s] broadcast.”
Based on a web novel by author Sung So Jak, “Marry My Husband” tells the revenge story of terminally ill Kang Ji Won (Park Min Young), who witnesses her best friend Jung Soo Min (Song Ha Yoon) and her husband Park Min Hwan (Lee Yi Kyung) having an affair and gets killed by Park Min Hwan. Kang Ji Won travels back 10 years into the past and seeks revenge with Yoo Ji Hyeok (Na In Woo), the head of a department who works at the same company as her.
Through “Marry My Husband,” BoA will take on an acting challenge for the first time in seven years since her last film “Autumn Sonata” and will return to the small screen in eight years since KBS2’s “My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week,” which aired in 2016.
“Marry My Husband” is set to premiere on January 1, 2024. Stay tuned!
