BLACKPINK’s Jennie Officially Announces She Has Established Her Own Agency
On December 24, Jennie personally confirmed reports that she had launched a new label called OA (ODD ATELIER).
Posting her new company logo and several profile photos to Instagram, Jennie wrote the following message in English:
Hi, this is Jennie.
This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received. I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK.
Thank you.
Although Jennie first established OA in November—leading to much online speculation about the company’s website—the singer had never officially addressed the rumors before today.
Meanwhile, all four BLACKPINK members recently renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities—meaning that Jennie’s group activities with BLACKPINK will still be managed by YG Entertainment, while her solo activities will be managed by OA.
