aespa, Jeon Somi, CL, TXT, LIGHTSUM, and more are the "brands" expected to lead the year and write down the history of 2022! On the 26th, numerous K-pop idols reigned at the Korean First Brand Awards, proving their influence and impact in the industry.
What is the 2022 Korea First Brand Awards and How Were the Winners Selected?
Marking its 20th anniversary this year, the 2022 Korea First Brand Awards have chosen Korea's first brand through basic surveys, extensive national consumer surveys, and evaluation and deliberation to find a brand that is expected to lead 2022 based on the concept of a valuable record "Mark for Value."
In particular, the survey among consumers was conducted on the Korea Consumer Forum website for 12 days from November 1 to 12, targeting 2,655 brands in 15 industries. The number of respondents was 2,947,860, which came from various industries such as ICT, home appliances, health, education, finance, shopping, dining out, food, people, and culture.
To strengthen the global competitiveness of Korea's first brand, Chinese consumers also participated in the survey which ran from November 8th to 14th. As a result, 10,945,063 participations in China influenced the awardees.
Aside from popular brands in Korea, personalities who are also considered influential brands were also given titles.
Based on the National Consumer Survey on First Brands in Korea, consumers' interest in the character and culture sectors were also high, particularly to these artists:

On the other hand, Jeon Jae Ho, CEO of the Korea Consumer Forum, said, "The Korea First Brand Awards have left a valuable record of the award-winning brand for 20 years. The 20-year history was possible thanks to the efforts of first brands to satisfy consumers' expectations.
