18 K-Pop Artists Who Confirmed Their Comebacks And Debuts In May So Far
Several K-Pop artists are preparing hard to release the best quality products to their fans. Let's take a look at the outstanding names who have confirmed to enter the K-Pop race in May 2021.
May 3: HIGHLIGHT (Comeback)
On May 3, HIGHLIGHT will return after a two and a half years "military white flag" with their 3rd mini album 'The Blowing' at 6PM KST.
May 3: Yesung (Super Junior) (Solo Comeback)
Also on May 3, Super Junior’s main vocalist Yesung will make his solo comeback with the 4th mini album 'Beautiful Night'. On April 23, he pre-released a b-side track, 'Phantom Pain', ahead of the album release date.
May 4: I.O.I (Reunion/Anniversary)
On May 4 at 7PM KST, I.O.I will be making a long-awaited reunion comeback for their fifth anniversary since they disbanded. It will be in the form of a broadcast called I.5.I – Yes, I Love it..
May 5: MONSTA X (Japanese Comeback)
On May 5, MONSTA X will release their 3rd Japanese album 'Flavors of Love'. They already released the song 'Flavors of Love' on April 23.
May 7: Ailee (Comeback)
On May 7, Ailee will return a 'pre-release' album, Lovin’, as a gift for her fans before dropping a full studio album later this year.
May 10: NCT Dream (Comeback)
On May 10, NCT Dream (including Mark) will join the comeback race with their 1ts full-length album 'Hot Sauce' with a title track of the same name.
May 10: Oh My Girl Comeback
Also on May 10, at 6PM KST, Oh My Girl will drop their 8th mini album 'Dear OhMyGirl' with the title track 'Dun Dun Dance'.
May 11: ONEUS (Comeback)
On May 11, ONEUS will release their 5th mini album, Binary Code, with the title song 'Black Mirror'. This will be their second release of 2021 after their first studio album, Devil, came out in January.
May 12: TWICE (Japanese Comeback)
On May 12, TWICE is planning on releasing their 8th Japanese single album, Kura Kura, with a title track of the same name (which the music video for was released already on April 20.).
May 12: BLITZERS (Debut)
Also on May 12, new boy group BLITZERS will make their debut under WUZO Entertainment. They have 7 members - Go_U, Juhan, Jinhwa, Sya, Chris, Lutan, and Wooju - and have already released two pre-debut singles, 'Blitz' and 'Drawing Paper'.
May 12: Cosmic Girls The Black (Unit Debut)
Finally on May 12, Cosmic Girls’ sub-unit The Black, featuring members Seola, Exy, Bona, and Eunseo, will be make their comeback with their 1st single album 'My Attitude'.
May 19: PIXY (Comeback)
On May 19, newly debuted girl group PIXY will make their first comeback with the 1st mini album 'Chapter 2. Bravery'.
May 21: BTS (Comeback)
On May 21 at 11PM KST, BTS will be releasing the new digital single 'Butter'. It will be their 2nd English single, and is described as 'a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.'
TBA: Taemin SHINee (Solo Comeback)
Though an official date hasn’t been set yet, SHINee Taemin is expected to have one more comeback in mid-May before his official enlistment on May 31. He will also hold an online solo concert on May 2.
TBA: TO1 (Redebut under new name)
TOO originally debuted under both n.CH Entertainment and Stone Music Entertainment in April 2020, and in May, the boys will re-debut as TO1 fully under Stone Music Entertainment. They will still have the same line-up of 10 members.
TBA: TXT (Comeback)
Sometime in late May, TXT has also been confirmed to have a comeback with a new album.

Also in late May, rookie group Woo!ah! will be making a comeback.
