On July 26, a source from the drama shared, “We’re thankful that viewers have expectations for season 3 as much as they have loved season 1 and 2. The second season has just ended, and the seasons require long production time, so the production team needs to take a break first. Season 3 will be discussed after that.”
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi – from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings.
The second season boasted of high viewership ratings, and it has been loved by fans all over the world, including Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
