T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung will be appearing on the big screen for the first time in three years!
According to her agency, Cabin 74, Ham Eun Jung has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming movie “I Will Song” (working title).
Directed by Lee Sang Hoon, “I Will Song” is about an aspiring singer named Mool Kyul and an aspiring director named Ba Ram who happen to meet by fate and heal each other’s scars. Goo Won has been cast in the role of the male lead, Ba Ram, while Ham Eun Jung will be playing Mool Kyul.
Mool Kyul is described as a character for whom music was her entire life until she suddenly lost sight of the meaning of life before her official debut as a singer.
Ham Eun Jung said, “I’m excited and nervous to be trying a character I’ve never played before. I will work hard in order to portray ‘Mool Kyul,’ who overcomes her pain to heal and become filled with hope again. I hope that the viewers will be able to feel the truth in this project that aims to show how youth can overcome their scars and have the courage to chase their dreams rather than fall into despair.”
“I Will Song” will begin filming in mid-October.
