Choi Minho, a member of boy group SHINee Minho, has decided on his first move after being discharged from the military: a cameo role.

Choi Minho will make a special appearance as Oh Dong Sik in Kakao TV's original drama 'Lovestruck in the City' (directed by Park Shin Woo, written by Jung Hyun Jung, Jung Da Yeon).

'Lovestruck in the City' depicts the romance of young people living fiercely in a complicated city, as different kinds of love blend with the colorful urban landscapes.

In the web drama, Oh Dong Sik, played by Choi Minho, is a third-year policeman in charge of the security of the Cheonggyecheon area, and although he has a kind and patient personality, he is expected to play a major role in the play as a character who suffers from Park Jae Won (played by Ji Chang Wook), who visits the police station every time he gets drunk, saying he will find the thief.

In particular, as Choi Minho announcing his comeback to the small screen with a special appearance in 'Lovestruck in the City' is his first move after his discharge from the military, many people are already paying attention to how Choi Minho's role as a city policeman will look like.

Meanwhile, 'Lovestruck in the City' is the first digital drama to be released by director Park Shin Woo, who made hits such as 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' and 'Don't Dare to Dream', and writer Jeong Hyun Jung, who penned 'I Need Romance', 'Discovery of Love' and 'Romance Is a Bonus Book'. The first story will be released on December 22 (Tuesday) at 5 PM KST on Kakao.
