Shin Ye Eun Joins Rowoon In Talks To Star In New Historical Drama
On February 20, media outlet Hankook Ilbo reported that Shin Ye Eun had been cast in the new drama “Takryu” (romanized title).
In response to the report, Shin Ye Eun’s agency NPIO Entertainment shared, “She is positively reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘Takryu.’”
Last year, Rowoon’s agency shared that he was in talks for the male lead role in the drama. Similarly, Park Seoham was also reported to be in discussions for a role in “Takryu.”
“Takryu” is the second historical drama by writer Cheon Sung Il who led the success of “The Slave Hunters.” The drama will tell the story of a man who starts out as a gangster at Han River’s Mapo Port, the hub of logistics and economy in Joseon Dynasty, becoming a legend of Joseon solely with his body.
Shin Ye Eun is also currently gearing up for her upcoming drama “Jeong Nyeon” (romanized title) where she stars alongside Kim Tae Ri, Ra Mi Ran, and Moon So Ri. Jeong Nyeon is scheduled for release later this year.
