Shin Sung Rok has dropped out of cast of 'Penthouse'
Actor Shin Sung Rok drops out of the upcoming SBS drama 'Penthouse' due to schedule conflicts.
On March 6, SBS representatives confirmed to media outlets, "Shin Sung Rok will be leaving the cast of 'Penthouse', due to schedule conflicts."
The upcoming series, starring Kim So Yeon, Eugene, Lee Ji Ah, Ha Suk Jin, Bong Tae Kyu, and more, tells the story of greed-driven families who will do anything to live at an elite penthouse, considered the topmost tier of Gangnam. The series is expected to premiere some time in October of this year.
Shin Sung Rok is a great actor. Born on November 23, 1982, he made his acting debut in television in 2002 but found it difficult to find roles. He switched to musical theater in 2004 and is now considered one of Korea’s top musical theater stars, drawing audiences from all over Asia. Shin Sung Rok has since found mainstream fame with his roles in the television dramas “My Love From the Star” (2013), “Trot Lovers” (2014), “Liar Game” (2014), “The King’s Face” (2014), “On the Road to the Airport” (2016) and “Return” (2018).
