"We started filming after taking a two-week break, and 'Penthouse' Season 2 will air sometime in February next year," they said.
'Penthouse', which caused a sensation by recording a rating of 24% (according to Nielsen Korea), has decided to produce its second and third season early.
Earlier, the drama production team said, "Season 1 will be composed of 21 episodes, and Season 2 and Season 3 will be composed of 12 episodes each, and we are planning to change its composition to a Friday-Saturday drama."
If season 2 becomes a Friday-Saturday drama, it is expected to surpass the ratings of season 1 as more Korean viewers watch TV on Friday and Saturday.
'Penthouse' is a drama about the unprecedented "Queen" of a 100-story penthouse, and a war of real estate and education. It airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM KST on SBS.
