NCT’s Jaehyun, Park Hye Soo, Noh Jung Ui, Bae Hyun Sung And More Together Participated in “Dear.M” Script Reading
A spin-off of the hit web drama series “Love Playlist,” “Dear.M” is a romance drama that is about the campus-wide search for “M,” a mystery individual who is mentioned in an anonymous post on a Seoyeon University online community.
Besides the directors, Park Jin Woo and Seo Joo Wan and scriptwriter Lee Seul, actors Park Hye Soo, NCT’s Jaehyun, Noh Jung Ui, Bae Hyun Sung, UP10TION’s Lee Jin Hyuk, Woo Davi, Lee Jung Shik, Hwang Bo Reum Byul, CLC’s Eunbin, Jo Joon Young, and more have participated in the script reading.
Park Hye Soo will play the role of Ma Joo Ah, a cheerful character who often interfere with other people's problem. At the script reading, she shared, “I’m happy and excited to meet everyone. I hope we all finish filming happily and healthily.” Jaehyun, who will be taking on his first acting role as Cha Min Ho, shared, “I’ll work hard and do my best so we can have a fun time making the drama together.”
Noh Jung Ui, who will be playing Seoyeon University’s cheering team’s center Seo Ji Min, shared, “Even though I’m lacking, I’ll do my best to work hard.” Bae Hyun Sung, who will play Seo Ji Min’s romantic interest Park Ha Neul, similarly shared his determination to work hard and do well.
The script reading took place with the passionate energy of the young actors who portrayed a lively campus life with their skilled acting. Park Hae Soo and Jaehyun naturally portrayed Ma Joo Ah and Cha Min Ho’s close and candid friendship of 12 years, presenting smooth chemistry while expressing the subtle tension, comedy, and heart-fluttering excitement within that relationship. Noh Jung Ui and Bae Hyun Sung also energized the set with their acting as a sweet couple.
Lee Jin Hyuk, who plays Cha Min Ho and Park Ha Neul’s roommate Gil Mok Jin, and Woo Davi, who plays Hwang Bo Young, will make the drama even more interesting by highlighting their characters’ unique personalities. Lee Jung Sic will exhibit a sweet charm as the warmhearted Moon Joon, and Hwang Bo Reum Byul will skillfully take on the role of Choi Ro Sa, the vice-captain of Seoyeon University’s cheering team who went to high school with Seo Ji Min. Eunbin as the adorable Min Yang Hee and Jo Joon Young as the carefree Ban Yi Dam will round out the diverse cast of characters at Seoyeon University.
The production team of “Dear.M” shared, “It was a script reading in which we could feel the atmosphere of the college campus through the actors’ chemistry and passion. Please anticipate a lot as we’ll do our best to deliver a story of college students, who put their all into the things they love, to the viewers in a meaningful way.”
“Dear.M” is set to premiere in the first half of 2021.
