On May 17, STARNEWS reported that Lim Ji Yeon will star in JTBC’s new historical drama “Tale of Mrs. Ok” (literal translation).
In response to the report, Lim Ji Yeon’s agency Artist Company shared, “[‘Tale of Mrs. Ok’] is one of the projects that she received an offer for.”
“Tale of Mrs. Ok” is a drama that tells the fierce survival and success stories of a female slave in the Joseon Dynasty who fakes her name, status, and even her husband. Lim Ji Yeon is reportedly offered the role of slave Goo Deok, a character who abandons her name and fakes everything to live a new life as a mistress.
Recently, Lim Ji Yeon received great love for her role in “The Glory,” and she will be appearing with Kim Tae Hee in the upcoming drama “Lies Hidden in My Garden” which premieres on June 19. The actress is also confirmed to star in the new SBS drama “The National Vote for Death Penalty” (literal translation), which is scheduled to air this year.
