Ong Seong Wu and Shin Ye Eun’s playful characteristics came out behind the scenes on their JTBC drama “More than Friends”!
“More than Friends” is a K-Drama which is about two close friends who fall in unrequited love with the other over the course of 10 years. Shin Ye Eun plays Kyung Woo Yeon, who has been pining after her best friend for a whole decade. Ong Seong Wu plays Lee Soo, the longtime object of her affection who starts to see her in a different light.
The behind-the-scenes video takes place during the scene in which Lee Soo, Kyung Woo Yeon, and their group of friends do volunteer work as serving food and doing laundry…etc. The clip starts with Ong Seong Wu and Shin Ye Eun arguing about what kind of stew they are serving.
Later, Shin Ye Eun jokes around and pretends to eat the food she is serving but is surprised by Ong Seong Wu, who immediately starts rehearsing their scene. In this scene, Lee Soo hands Kyung Woo Yeon the ladle and tells her to serve the stew, and Ong Seong Wu quips, “Even when I think about it, I have no manners.”
In rehearsals for the scene in which Lee Soo catches Kyung Woo Yeon as she’s about to fall, the director gives Ong Seong Wu tips for how to make the moment sweet and romantic. Ong Seong Wu faithfully follows directions, but later when Shin Ye Eun says, “If I fall back…”, he jokes, “I’ll just stand here. If you fall, I’ll look down and ask if you’re okay.”
