“Dr. Romantic,” which is gearing up to return for a third season in April, is a drama that follows the stories of realistic doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, and Jung Ji Ahn have all been confirmed to be reprising their roles in the upcoming third season.
Ahn Hyo Seop returns as the genius surgeon Seo Woo Jin, who was a cynical doctor who didn’t believe in happiness after living an underprivileged life in Season 2, and Lee Sung Kyung returns as cardiothoracic surgeon Cha Eun Jae.
In the previous season, Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae received lots of love by portraying heart-fluttering romance even during their periods of difficulty as young doctors feeling lost and frustrated in their daily lives. The two, who matured together, confirmed each other’s feelings in the final episode of Season 2, suggesting that they became a couple.
The newly released stills feature doctors Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae taking a break at the busy Doldam Hospital. The two seem to be closer and more comfortable with each other than before, raising curiosity for what happened to them over the past three years.
