Kim Jung Hyun has confirmed to return in the new tvN drama “Queen Cheorin” with Shin Hye Sun, Bae Jong Ok, and Kim Tae Woo.
The tvN's new drama "Queen Cheorin" (written by Park Gye-ok, Choi Ah-il, directed by Yoon Sung-sik) is a fusion historical drama-comedy in which the soul of Jang Bong-hwan, a free man living in modern times, is trapped inside the body of a queen from the Joseon Dynasty, and a queen with the soul of a male chef trapped inside her body, and plans to show off her acting skills through the dynamic character. “Queen Cheorin” will be Shin Hye Sun’s first role in a historical drama since her debut.
Kim Jung Hyun will take on the role of the secretive king Cheol Jong, who may appear gentle and easygoing on the outside but is fierce on the inside. Kim Jung Hyun will showcase the duality of his character while balancing both seriousness and comedy in his acting.
