Newsen reported that former I.O.I / PRISTIN member Kyulkyung (Pinky) has filed a request to terminate the exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment unilaterally since September last year.
In response, XCSS Entertainment (Pledis in China) acknowledged that they and Pledis invested a lot in her career in both China and Korea. But since September last year, she suddenly cut off contact with staff, independently promoting in movies, entertainment shows and commercials in her home country.
The company was forced to sue her for breach of exclusive contract and warn the 3rd party "rob" artist without permission.
Kyulkyung is the next Chinese idol to go to court for a contract dispute with the company.
