Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, the WandaVision series follows the 'fantasy' life of Scarlet Witch and Vision following the somewhat tragic events of Avengers: Endgame. What makes it easy for audiences to recognize the events in the series above is the audience because Vision was killed in Avengers: Infinity War. Therefore, Wanda and Vision's lives will not be as happy as in the trailers.
Earlier this year, Disney + planned to make The Falcon and the Winter Soldier the first MCU series to work with them, and WandaVision will follow, released in December. However, the COVID-19 pandemic turned everything upside down, making WandaVision the first name to reach the audience.
After the first trailer came out in September, fans have come to expect that Scarlet Witch and Vision's first starring series will debut on Disney + later this year, but unfortunately, it won't be out. Specifically, Marvel Studios has officially announced the release date of the WandaVision series - something that has been expected by fans for a long time. Instead of being on air later this year, fans will be enjoying the series on January 15, 2021 - that is more than two months away. Along with this announcement is a 28-second video, revealing more information about the series.
As such, WandaVision will launch three months earlier than Black Widow and will be Marvel's busy one-year kickoff series in 2021.
