The Glee star, Naya Rivera was last seen heading down the dock with her son Josey beside in a video, before she went nowhere to be found after the boat trip to Lake Piru.
The last seen video of Naya was released by The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. It was captured on a closed-circuit TV camera around 1 pm on July 8, seeing the former Glee star in a black tank top and white shorts, ready for a sunny camping trip on the lake with his little son.
The video was taken showing the parking lot, boat docks and open water of Lake Piru, northwest of Los Angeles. Naya is seen parking her SUV in a lot and going around to the other side to collect Josey from his seat. She carried a large white bag and slung it around her shoulder before walking towards the dock with Josey.

Three hours after their boat took off, the only one was found in the boat was Josey. Thankfully, he was unharmed.
The boy said that he was swimming with her mom, but just a moment later, he never saw his mother came out of the water. Naya has since been presumed as drown after an extensive search of the lake has still not gained any further clues over the past 24 hours.
“We’ve had no indication after talking to her son that Ms. Rivera made it to shore. So the focus of our search efforts are in the water at this time,” Sgt. Kevin Donoghue told reporters in an afternoon news conference on July 9.
He added that Josey, “gave enough information to investigators to conclude that his mother never made it out of the water.”
The search has been turned into a recovery process with authorities are swepting out the lake after she was presumed to have drowned.
“It’s too early to say what happened here…” but that, “Our hearts and our prayers and thoughts go out to the Rivera family. This is a terrible tragedy for all of them and we hope to bring closure for that family.”
