As the co-founder of Wander Beauty and a former Victoria’s Secret Angel, Lindsay Ellingson knows a thing or two about the mood-boosting power of makeup — and she’s not slacking on her regimen while staying home.
“If I stick to it, it boosts my energy and I feel more productive overall,” Ellingson, who’s currently quarantining in Ohio while pregnant with her first child with husband Sean Clayton, told Page Six Style.
“I really just use three products. I use [Wander Beauty’s] Dualist Concealer ($29), which is two formulas in one so it’s super easy. I use mascara every day – I never skip mascara. My favorite is Unlashed ($24). And I finish it off with our On-the-Go Blush and Illuminator ($42). So it’s three products and I’m done.”
Now that she’s a mom-to-be, Ellingson said she’s prioritizing clean beauty products above all. “Wander is clean, but I’ve also been loving Mama Mio,” she told us.
“I never thought about doing any skincare on my tummy until I became pregnant, but I’ve been paying extra-special attention to my stomach to try to prevent stretch marks — although if they happen, they happen! I love the Tummy Rub Butter ($22) and the Tummy Rub Oil ($26); I layer those twice a day, and they’re amazing.”
The model’s also been cleaning up her hair care routine. “I switched over to Josh Rosebrook, who makes this amazing texture and volume spray ($26),” she explained. “And Playa, whose New Day Mist ($24) is a nice way to refresh your hair if you don’t want to wash it. It has a really nice scent.”
