In the latest photos of new seasons that were released for CW’s slate of Arrowverse shows (Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Black Lightning, Stargirl, Superman & Lois), a positive message was delivered just in an appropriate time, with the characters were set in coronavirus-themed look.
All the CW heroes will appear in the posters having a protective mask covered on their face, with the aim of raising the awareness of the public towards the efficacy of facial coverings in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
The Flash and Supergirl were the two series were forced to delay the production in March when the government mandates preventing large gatherings.
The CW’s Riverdale also had to suspend its production when a member of the crew contracted to COVID-19 virus.
DC’s Stargirl is having a comeback on the CW. The network renewed the breakout superhero series with Brec Bassinger starring as the lead role, based on the DC characters.
CW will become the exclusive home to the series for the next season, with its episodes to be aired and streamed the next day on the free streaming platforms with advertisement-supported on CW.
The list of WBTV shows that are set to be on-screen in late August includes most Berlanti Productions series, which film in Vancouver, including other CW heroes as The Flash and Superman & Lois.
It was previously reported that some Supernatural cast members arrived in Vancouver in July, with the show on track to begin shooting back its final three episodes in early to mid-August, as planned.
