Ben Affleck hangs out with Jennifer Lopez's mom at Las Vegas casino

Ben Affleck is in Las Vegas where he's said to be filming a new project.

And it turns out that while his rekindled flame Jennifer Lopez is not with him, her mother Guadalupe Rodriguez is.

It's the latest twist in the fast-moving reunion of the actor and the pop star who have re-started their love affair 17 years after they canceled their wedding and broke up.

A photo obtained by PageSix.com showed Ben, 48, and Guadalupe, 75, hanging out together near slots machines at Wynn Las Vegas.

In between breaks in filming, Guadalupe chatted with members of the film crew and security staff, the outlet reported.

Earlier on Wednesday, Ben had been seen playing the tables at the casino at 3 a.m.

A source told E! News on Thursday: 'Guadalupe loves Ben and is happy that he is back in Jennifer's life.'

'They enjoy gambling together and have done it in the past,' the insider added. 'Ben had the opportunity to work in Vegas this week and she came out.'

Ben and JLo, who starred together in the critically-panned film Gigli, had been set to wed in September 2003 but called off the marriage at the last minute.

They split a few months later in January 2004.

The exes reunited in April and have been spending lots of time with each other in Miami, Florida, where Jen is based and in LA where Ben lives

However, following the end of Jen's engagement to Alex Rodriguez in April, after a four-year relationship, the former couple started seeing each other again.

Ben was single after parting three months earlier with Knives Out star Ana de Armas whom he met while making the thriller Deep Water in late 2019.

Jennifer, 51, has been dividing her time between Miami and Los Angeles and Ben had been staying with her in Florida before returning to the West Coast to see his kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

The singer and actress, who shares 13-year-old twins Max and Emme with former husband Marc Anthony, is reported to be contemplating relocating full-time to LA to be closer to the actor and director.

'She will be between L.A. and the Hamptons this summer, but L.A. will be her base. She is looking at schools for her kids in the fall,' E!'s source explained.

'She is excited about a fresh start and pursuing things with Ben. They will be at their L.A. home soon.'
