Madison Beer has apologized for the "poor timing" of her Tik Tok outburst about rumors that she has had plastic surgery.
The 21-year-old singer was accused of "crying about people calling pretty" amid outcry and riots over the killing of George Floyd.
She has since tweeted: "i stand with the Black Lives Matter movement over ANYTHING and THATS whats important right now and all i want to talk about."
Earlier this week Madison went live in Tik Tok and said "I got my lips done when I was younger and I f***ing regretted it and I hated it and I got them dissolved."
In a moment archived by Tik Tok Room she exclaimed: "This is literally my f***ing natural face! Shut up already! It's so annoying! I'm sorry I'm so mad right now."
Madison Beer explained that she was "triggered" by an "eating disorder comment" and was "f***ing so mad right now' to the point she was 'about to start crying."
The pop act said that she had "struggled with my appearance" and her "f***ing body," resulting in her emotional state on Tik Tok.
However some social media users denounced her for remarking on this subject after a white police officer knelt on George Floyd's neck for more than seven minutes during a forgery arrest, after which Floyd was taken to a hospital and died Monday.
On Thursday Madison quoted a tweet from Wednesday that read: "Black people are being killed and Madison Beer is crying about people calling her pretty..."
She wrote in response: "i just want to briefly address this bc this is upsetting & untrue. me addressing rumors & hate when i did was poor timing & i apologize."
Madison went on: "i saw a video of someone claiming i give people eating disorders which triggered and upset me a lot - bc that is not something i take lightly."
