Ana De Armas was born on April 30, 1988 in Santa Cruz de Norte, Cuba. De Armas grew up in Havana, although her parents were not in the film industry, the actress learned acting at the National Theater School of Cuba when she was 14 years old. But it was not until she turned 18 that she got her first lead role in the movie Una rosa de Francia (2006).It was at this time that De Armas moved to Spain to continue pursuing his acting ambitions, primarily through the Spanish series El Internado (2007).
