In the immortal words of Tim Gunn, Bella Hadid is making it work. The model, 23, may not be able to travel for photoshoots while social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic, but that isn’t stopping her from staging her own set at home.
Hadid took to Instagram on Thursday to share images of herself modeling the latest Jacquemus collection in her bathroom, presumably having done her own hair and (minimal) makeup for the occasion.
In one shot, the style star poses in nothing but a pair of platform sandals ($708) and an orange “Chiquito” bag ($768). In others, she wears a net shoulder bag ($195) in place of a shirt and uses a glass of water as a prop.
Many fashion publications and brands are turning to FaceTime-directed photoshoots during the pandemic — including Vogue, which published a series of at-home snapshots from Annie Leibovitz, Florence Pugh, Lizzo and more on Thursday.
Bella Hadid has already appeared in a print spread for Vogue Italia that was shot and directed completely via FaceTime. Not a bad way to work from home.
