Indira was starring in The Seagull in London’s West End, alongside fellow Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, until the play was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane on the hit fantasy series, announced he had tested positive for COVID-19 via Instagram on Monday (March 16, 2020), revealing he has quarantined himself at home.
“My family and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes. We are in good health – I only have mild symptoms of a cold.”
He then urged others suffering or carrying the virus to heed guidelines from the World Health Organization to stay safe.
