Production on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier continues to move forward, as Emily VanCamp confirms she's wrapped filming as Sharon Carter.

Filming on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has made more progress, with Sharon Carter actress Emily VanCamp wrapping on the series. Launching Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not been an easy task for Marvel Studios.

Delays to movie release dates and productions due to coronavirus have completely changed what fans thought the next few years of the MCU would look like. This includes The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which had to stop filming in early March and has since missed it's original August release date on Disney+.

It took almost six months, but filming finally resumed on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier a few weeks ago. Disney and Marvel are attempting to finish the production in Atlanta, Georgia, before possibly going overseas to shoot some more scenes. This has resulted in a flurry of set photos and videos showing the principal cast and some new additions filming the show. Some of the photos saw VanCamp return as Sharon Carter, but fans won't get any more as she's done filming.

VanCamp confirmed that she has wrapped filming on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The actress, who previously appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, shared an image on Instagram of her on-set chair and confirmed that she's completed her latest stint playing Sharon.

VanCamp's reveal that she is done filming The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is another positive step that production on the Disney+ series has taken since resuming. She is the first cast member to publically confirm that they are done with filming. We've seen Desmond Chiam, Georges St. Pierre, and Erin Kellyman on set, but none of them have revealed if they're done or have more to do. Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie have both posted images of them on set, but they should be the last ones to wrap as the stars of the series.

As long as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier continues to make progress like this, then it might not be too long before the series can eventually debut on Disney+. The late 2020 release for WandaVision will make it the first MCU Disney+ series to be released, but The Falcon and The Winter Soldier could be ready by spring 2021.

What we don't know is if the series has to come out after Black Widow, as there has been speculation about the first MCU Phase 4 movie setting up The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in some way. If that is the case, then it won't be until sometime next summer before the show arrives.
