The Pussycat Dolls upcoming Manila concert has been postponed to a later date. Concert organizer Wilbros Live made the announcement through Facebook on Wednesday.

To ensure the public’s health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pussycat Dolls concert in Manila on May 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena will be postponed and a new date will be announced soon,” the announcement said.

Wilbros Live also said tickets for the May 9 show will still be valid on the new date. The Pussycat Dolls have recently reunited after nearly a decade since disbandment.

The girl group rose to popularity in the first decade of the 2000s through songs such as “Don’t Cha” and “When I Grow Up.” The group last visited Manila in June 2009 as part of their Doll Domination Tour.

The Pussycat Dolls began as a burlesque troupe before turning into a mainstream pop group in 2003, comprised of Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt. The group disbanded in 2010 and reunited in late 2019, minus Thornton.
