It seems like Snoop Dogg has finally decided to make some new music for his fans when the 17th time Grammy nominee recently posted to Instagram to give some hints on an upcoming collaboration with Dr. Dre.
Snoop Dogg was spotted appearing in a behind-the-scenes video where he was in the studio with Dr. Dre and Kanye West. He sat in the corner while West and Dre were in the middle of some serious conversation at the studio switchboards.
He then whispered right into the camera: “Kanye West got some hot music. Shhhh. Kanye West got some hot s***. Only I can get exclusive footage… It’s finna come out. Dr. Dre touched it.”
Before the clip, Snoop Dogg posted one photo of him and Dr.Dre in the studio, captioned: “Bac2gether again”. This is not the first time these two work together in a collab. Back in the golden days of hip-hop, Snoop and Dre had some popular tracks like Nuthin’ But A G Thang, Hold Us Back and Still D.R.E. Dre even produced Snoop’s debut album Doggystyle in 1993.
Kanye also posted a photo Friday to Twitter of his Yeezy Foam Runners, wrote: “IM SORRY DOCTOR DRE I SPILT THESE THREE DROPS OF ORANGE JUICE MIXED WITH UUUUUUM WHILE WE WERE FINISHING OUR FIRST PROJECT.”
He revealed back in November that he and Dr. Dre were collaborating, tweeting: “Ye and Dre Jesus is King Part II coming soon.”
Kanye later said at a Sunday Service: “I used to spend all my time trying to make my beats be mixed as good as Dr. Dre.”
“Who knew all I had to do was do an album for God and then Dr. Dre would start mixing my beats? Spend your time on God and he will handle the rest.”
