The rapper, 42, and ME! hitmaker Taylor were embroiled in a feud after Kanye and wife Kim Kardashian, 39, claimed that 30-year-old Taylor agreed to be called a “b**ch” in his song Famous, where he sings: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**ch famous God damn.”
Kanye also credited himself with making the singer a household name but after the leak of the entire 25-minute conversation between the stars, it appears Kanye did not tell the whole truth about the chat.
When the track was released Taylor said she was not keen on the disrespectful lyrics, and Kim became involved and leaked a snippet of a phone call and claimed that Taylor was fully aware of the song lyrics.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star went on to label her a “snake”, which led to Swift being trolled online, forcing her to take a break from social media.
However, in the newly released sound footage, Kanye fails to mention that he was going to call Taylor a “b**ch” and claim he made her a star – in line with the You Need to Calm Down star’s post at the time, claiming: “He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b**ch’ in front of the entire world.”
