What a piece of big news for fashion-lovers when a fashion clothing brand mixed with a touch of Kanye West when the rapper just has signed a 10-year contract with Gap, promising a clothing label together called Yeezy Gap.

The retailer – generally considered as a supermarket brand – will put the Yeezy products onboard in their shops and online shops in the first half of 2021.

In sharing the desire of the brand new brand, the design team of Yeezy said that it is to create a “new, refined basics at affordable price points for men, women and babies”. Of course, Kanye West will be in charge of the captain for the line, including managing how the marketing ways of Gap will be for his clothes.

To put that in perspective, the tumbling provider only hauled $4.6 billion globally in total, as in 2019. However, with the profits of $1 billion of Kanye’s Yeezy shoe line in the past year, sure it’s totally possible.

The collab between Kanye and the retail chain Gap comes to him after a long time of progress. The rapper used to work at Gap when he was a teen back then. One interview that he had in 2015 was a declaration of being the “Steve Jobs of the Gap” and the position of Gap’s creative director.
