Christian Siriano is keeping busy in these trying times. When he’s not producing thousands of face masks for the medical workers fighting coronavirus on the front lines, the 34-year-old designer, Kelly is staying creative by sketching and painting gorgeous gowns.
During a virtual chat on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Siriano surprised the singer, who turned 38 on Friday, with a trio of sketches of gowns he’s designed for her in the past.
“These are my gift to you — I’m sorry they’re not framed,” the designer told Clarkson. “Happy birthday!”
The sketches feature the Siriano looks Clarkson wore to the 2018 Golden Globes and Grammys — an off-the-shoulder black A-line gown with a single contrast sleeve and a fringed dress with opulent gold lace detailing, respectively — as well as the hot pink puff-sleeved number she wore to the 2019 “UglyDolls” premiere.
“I love those! Thank you so much, that’s so kind,” the “Since U Been Gone” singer gushed.
