During a Naver V-live broadcast, NCT's Haechan has shared his thoughts on saesang fans and asked them to consider about their idol's feelings.
On June 6, Haechan made a live broadcast to interact with his fans on his birthday. After sharing about his birthday and gifts which he received from group's members, Haechan mentioned that NCT 127 had a chance to see some of their fans for the first time earlier in the day.
"We briefly went somewhere to film something today, and when we were leaving, there were so many Cizennies [NCT’s official fandom nickname] there to see us. I was so happy to see them, but more than that, I felt really overwhelmed with emotion. I think I’d really missed Cizennies’ energy".
He went on, "I couldn't hide my feelings. I think the showed on my face. So before I knew it, I was waving 'It's been so long. I would have liked to stay a little longer, but I was happy to be able to feel the energy of all again, even if it was just a moment. So I want to say thank you to the fans who came today".
In addition, Haechan turned to serious emotion as he brought up the fact that there were people waiting outside NCT 127's dorm.
He said, "There is something I really want to say. Honestly, spending time with my fans is so much fun and makes me happy. No matter what way you choose to express your love for us, we'll gratefully accept it. But there are some people waiting outside of our dorm. Not just for NCT 127 but it's also the same for NCT Dream. It's really stressful and really hard to deal with. Especially, we feel so uncomfortable when we want to do things like hanging out and eating together".
He went on, "I know that you're doing it because you like us. But I don't understand why you choose this kind of behavior if you like us. Our neighbors have also been complaining to us a lot about it, but all we can do is saying sorry".
Haechan also explained that he was not referring to the vast majority of their fans because he was happy when he could see he fans by chance, especially in the situation right now, "So when we happen to run into a fan on the street, or if we're out somewhere and someone comes to us and says 'I am your fan', that makes us so happy. And because they like us, use the suitable behavior, so if someone asks us to take a photograph, we're eager to do it".
"But these people are not like that (saesangs). I hope they know it's a shameful thing and do not do that again", he said.
NCT 127 recently made a comeback with their repackaged album "Neo Zone: The Final Round".
