BaekHyun, a member of top idol group EXO as well as top solo artist, has organized an online fan meeting CanDelight Shop to interact with his fans.
The online fan meeting was held at Naver EXO V Live broadcast on the afternoon of June 13th.
On the show, Baekhyun performed an eating ASMR. He then had time to answer the questions he had received in advance. The first question was to ask him if he has had any special memories of incense? In response, Baekhyun said, "When I go out in cold winter and come back, there is a scent that comes with the wind when the front door closes. Should I say it's a winter scent of winter? It's coming in. The smell reminds me of my mother holding a tangerine bag. And the same is true when you walk around wearing a coat and come into a warm place and smell the coat".
While answering his fan's questions, the idol showed how much work had gone into his recent chart-topping solo track "Candy". When he was asked about the record of Candy, he replied: "That was probably when we were recording the title song from the beginning. I have had a lot of candy repurposed. It was a challenging song for me, and I didn't satisfied with it when I recorded it for the first time".
Baekhyun continued sharing his sadness about COVID-19 pandemic that he wasn't able to see his fans directly.
"I am a spontaneous person, so I don't think I can show any color when I'm constrained. I love the way standing in front of my fans, having fun and talking with them. And that's the reason I left a lot of comments on social media". Also, he said, "It's sad that we can't meet each other offline and do something together, but we need to stay healthy in order to see for a long time in the future in the happiest way. So don't be sad. I'll come to see you guys on V live and other SNS platforms. I hope all of you can spend a sweet and cool summer together with me".
The EXO's vocal king also expressed his feeling about this comeback, "As I always say, I want to make you happy, and I hope you're happy. So I am glad that even in difficult times, we're at least able to meet like this". "While promoting my second mini album, I tried to show a lot of different aspects of myself. Even though I was tired, I always took lessons every night", he confessed.
BaekHyun is the idol that always respects and loves his fan so much. He always spends time for his "Eri" (the special nickname for EXO-L he set), especially when the group don't have many activities. In the fan meeting, he has shown the love feeling for fans and hoped to go with Eri forever.
"I think a lot about what I can do to EXO-L someday. I will continue to try and spend a lot of time with my fans. I hope we can walk together for a long time in the future", also, "I believe that if we walk together, I have faith that our path will be really a happy one. So I hope you will stand by me and we can walk along the road together. I love you so much, EXO-L".
