The four are scheduled to release their collaboration song later this month, according to a report by Hankyung on May 8.

Known as best friends in the entertainment industry, they appeared together on MBC’s ‘Infinite Challenge’ special episode ‘Wedding Singers’ in 2016 to work together for a song. In the episode, which was about giving a surprise wedding song to newlyweds in celebration of Family Month (May), the four teamed up under the name of ‘Wedding Boys’ to give them a sweet harmony.

Jung Yonghwa, Lee Joon, Yoon Doojoon and Hwang Kwanghee have boasted their unwavering friendship by posting photos taken together on social media even after the show. In particular, in March, Yonghwa posted a scene when he appeared on ‘Infinite Challenge’, saying, “I miss it. It was fun. Are you all healthy? Stay healthier.” Since then, he has received heated responses from fans as a post saying he spent time with Kwanghee and Lee Joon. Kwanghee also appeared on MBC FM4U’s’IKim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon’ last month and said, “I want to appear in a travel program with Jung Yonghwa, Lee Joon and Yoon Do-joon,” adding, “The four of us are really fun.”

The team agreed to release a new song, expected to be a special gift for fans who have been steadily expecting the four to work together.

Above all, the release of the new song is expected to attract a lot of attention because it is their first joint project after returning from military service, one after another since 2018. Starting with Kwanghee in 2018, Yonghwa and Lee Joon were discharged from the military in November and December last year, respectively, while Doojoon was discharged from the military last month as an Army sergeant.
