Lisa from girl group BLACKPINK has been a victim of a fraud by her former manager 'Mr. A', and her agency has announced her official position.
YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's agency, told Newsen on June 2 that, "We found out that Lisa suffered from a fraud by her former manager 'A'. According to Lisa's intention to settle the matter smoothly as A was a trusted former manager, A has reimbursed some of the money and created a repayment plan for the rest of the money."
"We apologize for causing concern to our fans who love us. The company is very embarrassed by Mr. A's behavior of abusing his trust with the artist, while feeling responsible for our management and supervision. We're working on measures to prevent such an unfortunate incident from happening again."
