It can be seen that this is a big successful year of Big Hit when BTS achieved results beyond expectation, both domestically and internationally. Continuing to create a huge concert sales milestone, the highest album sales in history and many records that no other K-Pop group has achieved. Besides BTS, TXT also successfully debuted with positive album sales, sweeping the year-end rookie awards, bringing new victories to Big Hit.
Specifically, Big Hit Entertainment published an audit report in 2019 revealing that in the tax year 2019, the company recorded a total sales profit of 481 million USD as well as operating profit of 80.9 million USD. Compared to 2018, Big Hit's sales profit increased 95% and its operating profit increased 24%. Moreover, Big Hit recorded more than 6 million album sales with the release of BTS and TXT albums.
