Boy group BTS has recently voiced their participation in the anti-racial discrimination movement that has been spreading in the United States.
BTS wrote in Korean and English on their official Twitter account on June 4 that, "We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together."
They once again said they support the anti-racism movement by attaching hashtag #BlackLivesMatter to the post.
In addition, BTS will donate money to organizations fighting against racial discrimination.
The boys' agency Big Hit Entertainment said on the same day that it is difficult to reveal the specific donation amount, but confirmed, "We have finished discussions with the Ministry of Finance and the remittance process is currently underway."
News of BTS' anti-racism and donations came amid the spread of anti-racism campaigns across the United States. after a white police officer killed an unarmed black man - George Floyd - in Minneapolis, Minnesota last month. Online posts with hashtag #BlackLivesMatter have been posted one after another, prompting criticism of racial discrimination.

BTS has always expressed its opposition to social discrimination both on and off the stage.
