In MBC's standard FM 'Sandeul's Starry Night' which aired on April 30, DJ Sandeul personally told listeners the news of his departure from the radio.
In the latest broadcast, Sandeul announced, "I'm thankful to all the good relationships I've had until now. Thinking about it led me to deliver some disappointing news. I think I'll have to say goodbye soon to 'Starry Night', which I've been with since July 2018 - two years ago".
He shared, "I've been meeting you every day for a year and nine months, so I've heard a lot of things and learned a lot from 'Starry Night' family, so it wasn't easy to make this decision," adding, "I'm going to think that I'll be able to work harder on my music and meet you at a good place."
He also said, "I hope you will come to 'Starry Night' every day until May 10, when I do the last broadcast. I will fill the rest of the time just like the usual Sandeul's 'Starry Night'."
Earlier, Sandeul distinguished himself as a radio DJ with his warm sensibility and healing voice. It won the Radio Excellence Award at the MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards at the end of last year. It also received favorable reviews in March last year when it successfully completed its eight-day tour of the country to mark the 50th anniversary of "Starry Night."
Meanwhile, Sandeul's Starry Night, which will run until May 10, will be available at MBC Standard FM from 10:05 PM to midnight KST.
