"Jung Eunji will release her solo album in July," her agency Play M Entertainment said on June 23. "We will tell you the details of her schedule and the format of the album as soon as it is decided."

It has been a year and nine months since her third solo mini album 'Hyehwa' in 2018. Since then, Eunji has been active mostly as an actress and radio DJ. The release of the new song will also come a year and three months after her digital single 'Be with Me', a surprise duet with Kwon Jung Yeol of 10cm.

Eunji debuted as a member of girl group APINK in 2011 and has been greatly loved with a number of hit songs such as 'Five', 'Luv', 'Mr. Chu' and 'NoNoNo'. The group has recently established themselves as a long-standing representative K-pop girl group by successfully releasing 'I'm So Sick' and 'Dumhdurum'.

Recognized for her outstanding singing ability as APINK's main vocalist, Eunji released her first solo album 'Dream' in 2016 and took a successful step toward being a solo artist, topping various music charts and music broadcasts with her title track 'Hopefully Sky', which she wrote and participated in composing.

Her agency said, "Jung Eunji, who has been growing every day as an artist and has shown her own color, is working hard to prepare for her solo album, so please look forward to it."

Fans are already paying keen attention to what new aspects Eunji, who has continued to be an unrivaled female artist by showing off her presence in various ways, including group activities, acting, entertainment, and advertising, will show as a "solo singer".
