AB6IX member Lim Young Min got his license revoked after being caught driving under the influence of alcohol on May 31. His activities for the upcoming comeback are suspended.
Brand New Music, his agency, posted a statement on the official AB6IX fan cafe on June 4. Below is the full text of Brand New Music's official position.
"Hello, we are BRAND NEW MUSIC.
First of all, we sincerely apologize to the fans for the bad news.
Here's information on our artist Lim Young Min's drunk driving and the subsequent suspension of his activities.
Lim Young Min was found drunk and had his license revoked by the police early on May 31, after meeting with his acquaintances, drinking alcohol, and traveling to his residence in his car.
Currently, Lim Young Min is deeply regretting and reflecting on himself, and if there is any further investigation, he will faithfully cooperate. In addition, Lim Young Min will stop all activities as a member of AB6IX after today, and AB6IX's schedule in the future will be done by four members, excluding Lim Young Min. And AB6IX's new album, which was scheduled to be released on June 8, will be delayed to June 29, after team maintenance.
We deeply feel responsible for the occurrence of such an incident to our artists.
